Apartment living at iconic Albion Mill

A developer’s move to meet the market has been rewarded with almost $4 million in sales in just 10 days.

FKP offered reconfigured two-bedroom apartments at Albion Mill Village for $399, 000- the same price as its one-bedroom stock.

Buyers responded by snapping up 10 apartments in the $330million development.

FKP Queensland developments executive general manager, Gary Kordic said the market was looking for larger apartments.

‘For so long Brisbane buyers have been limited to smaller stock apartments- small space designs which compromise liveability for price. In reality, the buyer of 2013 is looking for smart use of space and liveable design,’ he said.

‘Buyers want to have flexibility with their investment should circumstances change, so they can buy as an investment, or an owner-occupier. With high quality finishes and a flexible two-bedroom design, Albion Mill Village has come into its own’.

The Albion Mill Village pays homage to its heritage as a Flour Mill, spanning 7,336sqm across the historic development and the adjoining site.

The first stage of the Village, The Hudson, is a contemporary urban development featuring one, two and three bedroom apartments, some with city views.

Interest in the development has been high and all three-bedroom penthouses have already sold out.
